Barcode Reader skips a binary character

Hi,

I’d been using an old version of the dll (2.1.0.39119), but I decided to migrate to the newest one for new developments.

Most of the times the new version works as expected, but sometimes when I try to recognize a Pdf417 barcode with certain pattern, a character is missing (‘\0’) that is present with the old version.

I assume that the new version skips a character because I expect the last name to be at position 127, but it starts at position 126 when I read it with the new version, but when I read it with the old version it starts at the correct possition.

I’m attaching an image of a barcode with the problem.
I tested the image at this page Barcode Reader. Free Online Web Application
that includes the full binary data and there you can see that there are 18 ‘\0’ characters between the position 109 and 126, but when I use the function GetCodeBytes() of the reader there are only 17 chars.

Is it a bug? when can you fix it?

Hi Gustavo,

We can also notice the issue at our end. Can you please share which old version of Aspose.Barcode you are using to produce the correct output? There is no 2.1.0.39119 version of Aspose.Barcode. Please share the link to that version if possible.

Best Regards,
