Is there any way to validate the CodeText for the given SymbologyType before a barcode is generated? I have searched through the JavaDoc and I don’t see a method. Instead, the library automatically truncates / pads the CodeText to create a valid barcode.

I am afraid, currently there are no means available in Aspose.BarCode for Java to validate the CodeText value for a given symbology. Library will auto pad or auto truncate the value to generate a valid barcode symbol.
If you can elaborate your scenario further, we can analyze the requirement and bring your required feature on our road map. Please note, we always appreciate improvements suggested by the customers to enhance our product.
