Benchmarks for Aspose.Words .NET and Java

I am evaluating Aspose for a client. While the features fit the requirement pretty well, I would like to understand the performance benchmarks for Aspose.Words for Java.

We expect to handle word documents that are about 8-10 pages long, with a few images (logos, mostly) and may be 1-2 tables per document. These documents would have 15-20 minor variables that need to be replaced from the database. Also, there are 3-5 rules to display selected content. The final output will be in PDF format.

Given this context, what would be rate at which Aspose.words is likely to process these documents? Something like n pages per minute or x documents per hour would really help finalize our evaluation in favor of Aspose.words.

Thanks
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately we have no benchmarks available for performance/memory tests yet. Aspose components are highly scalable and lightning fast. Generally, the processing time and memory usage fully depend on your documents and their complexity. Aspose.Words needs few times more memory than document size to build model of the document (DOM) in memory.
