Blur Settings not preserved when rendering image from excel

Hello,

We’ve tested and the original input file seems to be now correctly output by SheetRender.

However, we’ve identified another similar issue, for a picture having some sort of a style applied on it. SheetRender fails to output that blur effect. I’ve attached a small console application describing the issue, you can inspect the input TestFile.xlsx and the Output.png as the application generates.

We are using Aspose.Cells version 8.0.2.0.

Any feedback will be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Mihai,

Thank you for sharing your sample project for our review.

First of all, please note that we have split the existing thread to create a new one on your behalf. Reason being, it’s always suggested to create a new thread for every distinct inquiry/problem.

We are able to notice that while rendering the spreadsheet to image, the shadow setting such as blur is not present in the resultant image. we have logged an investigative ticket (CELLSNET-42754) in our bug tracking system to look further into this matter, and to provide a fix (if applicable). In the meanwhile, we will keep you posted with updates in this regard.

Please note, we have performed the testing with latest version of Aspose.Cells for .NET 8.1.0.1.

Hi again,

This is to update you regarding the ticket logged earlier as CELLSNET-42754. Please note, the current implementation of Aspose.Cells APIs do not support rendering the shape effects such as shadow, glow, soft edges & 3-D. These features require much more time for feasibility analysis as well as implementation therefore we will keep looking into these requirements however, we cannot share an estimated time frame for the fix at this moment. As soon as we have made significant progress towards achieving the aforementioned goal(s), we will post the updates here for your kind reference.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
