Broken file could be opened

Hi,
The sample: invalid_infected_index.zip (30.0 KB) is broken.
Open by following code:
var slides = new Presentation(file);
In Aspose.slide ver 19.4, it will throw exception “Index was out of range”. It’s expected since file is truly broken.
But in Aspose.slide ver 20.8, it can be opened as normal.

I have tried opening the file using Aspose.Slides for .NET 20.8 and have obtained the following exception while opening it.

Hi,
I double check again and it still happens from my side:
image.png (6.8 KB).
This file is detected as malware by windows, so may be you should exclude malware scanning on this file to keep it intact (orininal size of file is 36.2 KB).

You are right. I have earlier tested using Aspose.Slides for .NET 20.7. A ticket with ID SLIDESNET-42138 has been created in our issue tracking system to further investigate and resolve the issue. This thread has been linked with the issue so that you may be notified once the issue will be fixed.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as SLIDESNET-42138) have been fixed in this update.
