Bug related to CSS specifications (overflow-wrap: anywhere)

I would like to fill a bug report relate to Aspose HTML to PDF conversion regarding the overflow-wrap: anywhere CSS style.

I’ve prepared super simple example HTML file to demonstrate this:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>

<table>
	<tr>
		<td style="overflow-wrap: anywhere;">
		aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
		</td>
	</tr>
</body>
</html>

Chrome and other browsers will wrap the words according to CSS specifications:

To prevent overflow, an otherwise unbreakable string of characters — like a long word or URL — may be broken at any point if there are no otherwise-acceptable break points in the line. No hyphenation character is inserted at the break point. Soft wrap opportunities introduced by the word break are considered when calculating min-content intrinsic sizes.

… but that doesn’t happen in the case of Aspose HTML which is demonstrated in the attached PDF.

Is there any other way to achieve the desired behavior?

Hi @asad.ali,

I don’t want to rush you but could you just please let me know whether any progress was made?

Also is there any list of CSS specifications/levels that are supported by Aspose HTML?

@PrimosK

The earlier logged ticket is not yet resolved. It was logged in free support model and will be investigated and fixed on first come first serve basis. We will surely inform you once we have additional updates in this regard. Please spare us some time.

Furthermore, we do not have any list of CSS specifications, but we are aiming to support the latest CSS specifications.
