Calculate SUM (ABOVE) Function Formula during Word DOCX to PDF Conversion using C# .NET | Table Empty Row

Hi,

We found that Aspose.Words for .NET may treat “=SUM(ABOVE)” formula fields differently from Microsoft Word. As a consequence, incorrect calculation [compared to Microsoft Word] results may appear.

For details, please see “SumAboveProblem.pdf” in the attached ZIP file which contains the following files:
– This description
– A detailed description of the problem in ‘SumAboveProblem.pdf’
– Sample documents
– A C# sample application with which the problem can be reproduced.

SumAboveProblem.zip (462.1 KB)

Our questions:

  1. Do you consider this behavior a bug in current versions of Aspose.Words for .NET?
  2. If so, in which release will this bug be fixed?

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Best regards,
Fabian
