Call to Document.save does not return- high CPU

I am running version 14.6.0 on Java 8. Intermittently I am seeing a problem where a call to:
doc.save(result.getAbsolutePath(), SaveFormat.PDF);
... results in the call not returning with high CPU. The same call with same document doesn't always seem to result in this issue. See below for the two threads calling into save().

Because of the obfuscation of the method names, it's not possible to guess at what kind of processing is occurring.

Has anyone else seen similar issues? Any guidance or additional information that I could provide?

Thanks for your inquiry. Could you please try upgrading to the latest version 14.9.0 and see how it goes on your end?

Awais - thanks for your reply. We are upgrading to 14.9.0 and will report back if we see a recurrence of the issue under that version (along with a file to trigger the condition, if it’s repeatable).

We have upgraded to to 14.9.0 and continue to see the problem. See attached word document that will trigger the behavior. Also please find an update stack trace from when the problem was occurring. Any assistance with this is appreciated, as it’s having a large impact on our production deployment and conversion of customer documents.

I see linked issue WORDSNET-10931 as ‘resolved’. Is there some way to find out when this fix will be packaged into a hotfix or release?

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-10931) have been fixed in this .NET update and this Java update.
