Can aspose.cells for nodejs be used without an internet connection?

Hello,

Can aspose.cells for nodejs be used without an internet connection?
My use case would be generating a pdf file from an excel file.

If have been looking trough the documentation, but it doesn’t state if an active internet connection is required to use. Sometimes it is mentioned that an API is called, but it is not specified what is meant by this.
