Cannot open .docx created using Aspose

The attached document was created by performing a mail merge on a document provided by a customer. If we try to open the document in Word 2010 we get this error:


Unspecified error

Location : Part : /word/document.xml, Line: 3, Column: 0

I found a similar report in the forum, but that person’s problem was a table with an invalid number of cells, and the fix for their problem didn’t fix mine.

Thanks for your inquiry. In case you are using an older version of Aspose.Words, I would suggest you please upgrade to the latest version (v15.2.0) from here and let us know how it goes on your side. If the problem still remains, please share following detail for investigation purposes.


  • Please attach your input Word document.
  • Please

    create a standalone/runnable simple application (for example a Console
    Application Project    ) that demonstrates the code (Aspose.Words code) you used to generate
    your output document


Unfortunately,
it is difficult to say what the problem is without the Document(s) and
simplified application. We need your Document(s) and simple project to
reproduce the problem. As soon as you get these pieces of information to
us we’ll start our investigation into your issue.
