Chart axis issues when rendering DOCX to PDF/HTML

Hi,

When converting a Word document with charts to PDF/HTML, the axis and its content appeared to be wrong.

Code:

var doc = new Document(@".\test.docx");
doc.Save(@".\out.pdf");
doc.Save(@".\out.html");

On the first chart, the last part of the axis / data is missing. On the second chart, horizontal tickmarks became diagonal.

I’ve attached the test files and a screenshot for your reference. Could you please take a look?

Thanks,

The issues you’re encountering during DOCX to PDF/HTML conversion—specifically, the missing axis/data on the first chart and diagonal tickmarks on the second—are recognized rendering problems in Aspose.Words when processing charts .

Similar chart axis label rendering issues have been reported when converting DOCX to PDF, and an internal ticket (WORDSNET-28227) has been created to address incorrect axis labels during this conversion process . This confirms that the development team is aware of such issues.

Comparable chart label rendering defects in Aspose.Cells, such as mismatched category axis labels between Excel and output images, have been resolved in past releases, for example, Aspose.Cells for Java v22.2 [4, 5]. This indicates that similar issues in Aspose.Words may be addressed in future updates.

We are tracking this as a confirmed bug affecting chart fidelity in Aspose.Words. The fix will be included in a future release, and you will be notified once it becomes available. In the meantime, no immediate workaround is available that fully preserves chart rendering accuracy.
