Chart label aligned vertically instead of horizontally

The label under the chart is aligned horizontally in the source sheet and vertically in the output. Please see the attached screenshot for details.

Hi,
you can use this on:
Bug-60472-ChartXAxisMoreCrowded-2.zip (542.4 KB)

Overall it seems that Excel and Aspose act upon different algorithm for computing how granular units should be used for X axis (when it is a date) - and it is also trying to keep labels horizontal, diagonal or vertical to fit them.

Since forcing Aspose by setting those units in Excel explicitly seems to do the trick, at least when speaking about the units.

I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-51000” for your issue. We will look into it soon.

Once we have an update on it, we will let you know.

Dear Simon,
since nearly one month has passed after this bug has been logged in your system,
are there any plans about this (has it been solved in the name of different issue) or is there anything we can help you with delivering fix for the issue?

Best Regards
P.

The fix will be included in the next (upcoming) release (Aspose.Cells for .NET v22.6) which is scheduled in the second week of June 2022. You will also be notified when the next version is published.

The issues you have found earlier have been fixed in this update. If you have downloaded the prior one(22.6.0), please use this update to replace the downloaded one because 22.6 has a bug which sometimes may cause generated file corrupted.
