Check progress on SaveToImage method

Is it possible to check the progress on the SaveToImage method? This would be a nice option when converting to Multipage TIFF for large documents.

Of course it is possible to create a tiff image for each page and check the progress that way, but it would be nice to have an Progrress eventhandler like in the recognition module:

Thanks for your inquiry. Currently, there is no way to check the status of conversion process. There is the issue #6693 in our defect database regarding this.
Issue #6693 - Create event that will be fired before each page is rendered while saving to PDF or Rendering
