Closing excel

I have an ASP.NET 2.0 page that opens an XLS file on the server. If File Close is used everthing is fine, but if the browser is closed using the X box, Excel continues to run in the background. What do I need to do to make sure Excel closes when the browser does?

Do you mean if you use OpenInBrowser option to open Excel file in MS Excel, MS Excel still runs in the background when you close the browser? We don’t find this problem. What happens if your run our demos: Demos ?
