com.aspose.email.system.exceptions.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Hi Team,

We are encountering the following error (see attached file for more detailed errors). We understand the error is related to the connection being reset from remote host. But, in the same application, we have some other modules (without using Aspose), we can connect properly.

[9/2/15 14:23:22:303 SGT] 0000001b SystemOut O 2015-09-02 14:23:22,256 [j2ee14_ws,maxpri=10]] [ STANDARD] [ ICMSFW:02.01.01] (egarules.generated.icmsfw_icms) ERROR - Unexpected exception caught while trying to send an email message.
class com.aspose.email.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. —> class com.aspose.email.system.exceptions.IOException: Read failure —> class com.aspose.email.system.exceptions.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

We would like to check if Aspose way of handling connection are releasing the connection properly or any other that might cause the error to occur

Appreciate your help on this

Thanks

Hi Gunawan,

Thank you for contacting Aspose support team.

I have analyzed the issue and need further assistance in this regard. Could you please share which mail server are you using in your testing? Provide us a temporary test account along with the credentials on this server. Also send us the sample code which you have used for this testing. It will help us to analyse the problem and provide assistance accordingly.

Hi Muhammad,

Thanks for your response. It turned out there is something wrong with the SMTP server.

Thanks
