I am using your Aspose.Total for .NET suite for some document tasks I need
one feature that i need is a way to compare the text in 2 pdf files for text differences and some way of marking those differences, i.e. highlight them etc<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I reached out to your chat support to see if Aspose supports this feature and was told that you currently do not support it and the it takes a certain number of request before a feature will be added to the suite.
Also was told to post this on the forums to see if anyone has a work around
To be clear I’ve seen forum post for your support talking about telling a user if a doc matches a another doc say 70%, that’s not what I need, as stated above I need the text differences highlighted or export in something I can work with
Thanks

Hi David,
Thanks for your inquiry. I am afraid Aspose.Pdf does not support the document comparison feature. However you can use
document comparison API of GroupDocs, a venture of Aspose. Hopefully it will help you to accomplish the task.
Please feel free to contact us for any further assistance.
Best Regards,
As I told the chat support person
I need a work around for this, I work for a large company who have a separate procurement dept.
so any 3rd part library purchases need to go through it
do you have a work around in the aspose.pdf library ?
also do you have a timeframe when Aspose will support this feature

Thanks for your feedback. You may get a 30 days temporary license of GroupDocs and test the suggested API without any limitation and if satisfied then can proceed accordingly.

Hi David,
dbendixen:

I am afraid we do not have any timelines to include the feature in Aspose.Pdf due to other priority fixes and features. However we will keep you updated about the issue, PDFNEWNET-38669, resolution progress within this forum thread.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
