We use Aspose Total for .NET and have encountered some lapses in file support after increasing our own file support claims and technology.

We have encountered processing errors with older Excel versions among other types. Excel is referenced as we received a specific error: “Error converting the excel document to pdf —> Aspose.Cells.CellsException: This Excel file contains (Excel3.0 or earlier file format) records.” but have no specific documentation showing where legacy file type support starts and ends.

Please share a comprehensive file support list so we can adjust our own product’s support to reflect any limitations.

The file is behind some permissions so we have asked to get direct access to it but it may take some time or not be able to be provided. This was isolated during a bug investigation on our side and for now we are mainly updating our documentation to state which documents can be converted (in our case to be previewed).

I will respond with anything safe to share if possible.
