DOCX to PDF conversion issue with shape colors and text (WORDSNET-17367)

Aspose.Words mimics the behavior of MS Word. If you convert your document to PDF using MS Word, you will get the same output. We have noticed that the bottom border of the rectangle is missing in output PDF file. We have logged this issue as WORDSNET-17368 in our issue tracking system.

Please use the latest version of Aspose.Words for Java 18.8 to get the desired output.

@tahir.manzoor

Thank you for the support, Sample 15 works fine in 18.8.

@suruthyb

Thanks for your feedback. Please let us know if you have any more queries.

A post was split to a new topic: Issues with Word document to PDF conversion

@suruthyb

Thanks for your patience. It is to inform you that the issues (WORDSNET-17366, WORDSNET-17367, and WORDSNET-17364) you are facing are actually not bugs in Aspose.Words. So, we have closed them as ‘Not a Bug’. The issue is related to filled purple rectangles instead of stroking. We have created a separate issue for it as WORDSNET-17398.

Moreover, to improve the visual appearance of the document in Acrobat Reader, you can use the PdfSaveOptions.OptimizeOutput property.

@suruthyb

Thanks for your patience. Regarding WORDSNET-17368, we noticed that the line appearance (quality) depends on the zoom factor. You can zoom in/out the PDF file to check this behavior. This is not a bug in Aspose.Words and it has been closed.

@suruthyb

Regarding WORDSNET-17365, please use the latest version of Aspose.Words for Java 18.10. This issue has been fixed in the latest version of Aspose.Words for Java.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as WORDSNET-17362) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for .NET 21.1 update and this Aspose.Words for Java 21.1 update.
