Conversion Slides->PDF: cannot print header and footer in ppt and pptx files

Hi all, I need to add header and footer text in attached file,then convert it to pdf, but the problem is that after the conversion to PDF, the conversion is OK but the header and footer are not printed.

I was reading these documents but I did not solve the problem

After adding an empty slide to a new presentation in Java I add the following code to get a header slide.getHeaderFooter().setHeaderVisible(true); slide.getHeaderFooter().setHeaderText("Hello Header"); When the code is run no header appears on the slide, when similiar methods are used to create a footer slide.getHeaderFooter().setFooterVisible(true); slide.getHeaderFooter().setFooterText("Hello Header"); The footer appears, no problem. Why does it work for footers and not Headers

In adittion, how I can find a solution also for pptx files?

We have Aspose.slides 7.8.0.

Hi Martin,

I have observed the requirement shared by you and suggest you to please try using Aspose.Slides for Java 14.4.0 on your end which is the latest available version. Also, the link that you have shared for managing header footer is workable with both PPT and PPTX presentation formats. All you need is to save the presentation in the end either as PPT or PPTX. The shared link is in accordance with new unified Aspose.Slides for Java api that provides single interface for managing both PPT and PPTX presentation formats.
