Is it possible to convert a word document to PDF format and retain the actual fonts present in the original document without the need to install those fonts on the server side?

The fonts will be required at the minute of rendering. You can specify where are located in case you do not want to use the system ones. But one way or another they need to be in the machine that renders the document.
