Convert to PDF Changes Custom Tab Format

When converting a Word document to PDF, if the Word document contains custom tabs, they are not honored by the conversion process. In other words, the converted text is not tabbed as far over as it is in the original.

I’ve attached an example Word document that exhibits this problem. On the very first page, blue text next to PI Address, which reads “Include the current institutional address of the PI,” is tabbed to align to the other blue text in the Word document, but after converting to PDF the text appears immediately after the label (PI Address).

I realize that removing the custom tabs and just using the default tabs is a work-around, but we have customers relying on the ability to use custom tabs in the Word document.
