Hi,
I used Aspose email 3.6 to convert PST files to eml and I have encountered two issues. Please help to resolve the issues.
1) I am converting journal messages and the converted eml files should have the header “x-ms-journal-report” but this header is not present in the converted eml files. Without this header from an eml file we can differentiate a normal message and Journal message.
2) Some characters are scrambled values in the converted eml files – dot in email address is changing to “=2E” for eg) test.domain.com chnages to test=2Edomain=2Ecom
Hi Satish,
Thank you for writing to Aspose support.
1. Could you please share the sample PST file with us for our investigation? We need it for investigating the issue at our end in detail and assist you accordingly. In case, you are not able to provide the PST, please save some messages from it to disc and pass these on to us. This will help us convert these messages to EML and investigate any such issue as you have mentioned.
2. Could you please share with us if “=2E” are visible in Outlook when you convert the messages to EML? Please share some sample source as well as converted EML files with us for our investigation into this issue.
PS: Please use the latest version of Aspose.Email for Java 3.8.0 in your application and share your feedback with us.
