Converting RTF to DOCX

Hi,

We are trying to convert RTF to DOCX.

RTF Document is created using itext(http://itextpdf.com/)

We are using itext Phrase (com.lowagie.text.Phrase) for Index markers.

When we convert RTF to DOCX .using Aspose Word. The entries are duplicated in document.
If did not add the index markers to RTF ,then generated DOCX have no issues.
Kindly find the attched sample RTF and DOCX documents.

EX: moderiba 800 dose packmoderiba 800 dose pack

Kindly help us with issue. It would be a great help. Thank you.

Hi Vijender,

Thanks for your inquiry. After an initial test with Aspose.Words 16.6.0, I was unable to reproduce this issue on my side. I would suggest you please upgrade to the latest version of Aspose.Words. You can download it from the following link. I hope, this helps.

You can test by comparing the index in rtf and docx.

Steps to generate index:

  • In the document at index section you will see below.
<span style=“font-size:14.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;font-family:“Verdana”,“sans-serif””> Index
Generate
the index.
  • select “Generate the index” and press F9 or Right click on it and select update filed (not through refrences --> insert Index tab)
