Converting to PDF has issues

We’re having a problem converting a OneNote file to Pdf using the Aspose.OneNote 23.5.0 library for .NET. In the attached OneNote file, each page is a separate issue.

1st page. Problem with math formulas that become unreadable after converting to pdf
2nd page. Problem with converting pictures drawn in OneNote
3rd page. After conversion, the scale is lost and the text is placed in a narrower column, and unexpected artifacts appear

@Andrei86

Thanks for the PDF document.

We noticed the issue as you mentioned by converting your OneNote document to PDF. We found the scale is lost or not the same and the text is placed in a narrower column when comparing with the PDF by MS OneNote.

We have opened the following new ticket(s) in our internal issue tracking system and will deliver their fixes according to the terms mentioned in Free Support Policies.

Issue ID(s): NOTENET-5784

Hello,

Do you have any update?

@Andrei86,

We apologize, but the three issues (“NOTENET-5782”, “NOTENET-57823”, and “NOTENET-5784”) have not been resolved yet. However, we will check if we can provide you with the latest updates or an ETA on your issue(s).

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused!

Thanks, I’m waiting for your response.

@Andrei86,

These issues have been logged under normal support. We haven’t yet conducted an in-depth analysis of the issues due to other priority tasks at hand. However, we did review the issues and attempted to analyze them, but we could not identify the root cause. We will invest more time and conduct a thorough investigation soon.

Once we have an update on any of these issues, we will let you know. We apologize for any inconvenience caused!

@Andrei86,

We have invested more time and evaluated your issue further. We have explored Aspose.Note’s handling of mathematical formulas, and despite the library’s ability to detect mathematical formatting in text (TextStyle.IsMathFormatting), overall support for mathematical formulas is limited. However, we believe this is a promising area for future development of the library, and we plan to include it in future enhancements.
