Copy of named cells references- addressing another sheet/workbook

Hello, there are 2 issues with named cells. Please, help.

First issue.

Input:

A workbook with 2 sheets.

One sheet uses the named cell from another sheet.

Action:

Copy the first sheet to another workbook.

Result:

The reference to the named cell is invalid (#Name?)

Expected result:

Excel behaviour. The Reference is to point to the workbook on the disk.

Second issue.

The same as the first, but the named cell is on a different workbook.

Result is a corrupted Excel file.

Thanks for the sample project.

We have evaluated your both issues.

1) I observed the issue as you mentioned by using your sample code
with your template file. The reference to the named cell becomes invalid
“#Name?” when copying a sheet that has the named ranges from another
sheets. I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-43083” for your issue. We will look into it soon.

2) I found the issue as you mentioned by using your sample code
with your second template file. The output file is always corrupted when when copying a
sheet that has the named ranges from another sheet in other workbook. I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-43084” for your issue. We will look into it soon.

Once we have any update on any of the issues, we will let you know here.

Hi,

Please try our latest fix/version: Aspose.Cells for .NET v8.2.2.1

We have fixed the issue of corrupted file “CELLSNET-43084” in it. Let us know your feedback.

But I am afraid, we could not copy the names which refer to
another workbook or worksheet as MS Excel does because it is too complex to find which one to be incorporated and how many external data/ contents should be copied to. If in future, we are successful to accomplish the task, we will let you know here.
