Correct JavaDoc location Aspose.Cells Eclipse

Hi,

I’m struggeling for days to obtain a correct Javadoc location or files to include on my buildpath for Eclipse. I even needed to upgrade my older code because Aspose is NOT supporting older documentation for older Aspose.Cells versions. (I used Cells 2.4 and location Aspose.Total for Java|Documentation is down, even the older versions can’t be downloaded, why?)

So is there anybody who can give me a correct Java location path or method to include in Eclipse for the latest jar.
Currently I set the Javadoc location to: “…/aspose-cells-7.3.1-JDK 1.6/doc” , but this also doesn’t work.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Thanks for your questions and using Aspose.Cells for Java.

It is Aspose policy that you cannot download the versions which are older than 1 year. However, I have attached the java documentation (java docs) of the older version for your needs.

Please create any directory and place it any where on your hard drive. Unarchive the java docs file there and configure your Eclipse project class/lib paths (i.e javadoc location path) as shown in the screenshot below.

Thank you very much for the information and the javadoc, unfortunately it is to late because I already moved to the latest version.

I already set the doc folder in the javadoc folder, but as you can see in the screenshot the javadoc isn’t linked correct and eclipse can’t validate the javadoc.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

I will try it on my end and will share with you my findings as soon as possible.

Hi,

I am unable to resolve this issue.

The javadocs works partially with Eclipse. Sometimes they work and other times, you have to focus using F2 and open them in a Browser.

Please see the following screenshot.
