When we do only WorkbookSave() on the document I have sent in the attachment, its content is corrupted as it is in the attachment. Current dll is used.

Please notice, I am able to reproduce the issue as you mentioned by re-saving your XLS file format. I found Excel file (XLS) is corrupted upon re-saving via Aspose.Cells APIs. MS Excel (2007, 2016, etc.) prompts error message(s) when opening/viewing the output file into it. I have logged a ticket with an id “CELLSNET-52395” for your issue. We will look into it soon.
Once we have an update on it, we will let you know.
This is to inform you that your issue has been resolved now. The fix will be included in our upcoming release (Aspose.Cells v23.1) which is scheduled in the first half of January 2023. You will be notified once the next release is published.
