Create printable version of an OMR template

Hello
My company is very interested in your OMR product
However my only concern is to be able to have a printable version of the template created using your template editor
Is there any solution using Aspose to create a printable version of your templates?
If no, how is possible to create answer sheets to be used in your template editor?

Thank you for considering Aspose.OCR.

The feature of "Printing OMR Template" with Aspose OMR Template Editor is not currently available. The feature is already on our roadmap. The feature has been logged into our system with ID OCR-33896. We will update you about the progress via this thread.

Furthermore you can create the OMR sheet using Microsoft Word. Please follow the steps below to create the OMR sheet using MS Word 2007:

  • On the “Insert” tab of the ribbon.
  • Click “Symbol” and choose “More Symbols”.
  • In the Symbol dialog, set the Font to “Arial Unicode MS”.
  • Set the Subset to “Enclosed Alphanumeric”. (The character code must be set to Unicode to make the Subset box appear.)
  • Select a number and click the “Insert” button.

You can convert MS Word document to image using following steps:

  • Go to "Start" > "All Programs" > "Accessories" > "Snipping Tool"
  • Click and drag the box over the document.
  • “Save as” the picture as MHT, PNG, GIF or JPG.

As I seek for a way to create the templates and sheets programmatically and dynamically, the provided solutions can’t help this creation I need a more dynamic solution for this creation.

you mentioned that the feature "Ability to save templates to image format” implementation is expected by the 3rd quarter of year 2015, while I still wait for the feature can you provide me with an approximate date of when this feature will be made available?

If we make TEMPLATE and BUBBLE SHEET separately and do the process to get the input using Aspose api, will it work properly.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
