Aspose Cell is able to render cells’ values correctly with custom format applied to cells in Excel. It detects positive, negative, text parts of custom format. It’s able to detect required value scaling to correctly show percentage values and so on.
Can you made Custom Format Parse API a public? It could be very useful to extract some additional information about cell format, e.g. currency symbol, suffix\prefix text, count of decimal places and so on.

Well, the formatting feature is complicated and the formatting parsers have references to many other internal data models. We need to first investigate whether it is appropriate to make these public. But, we are afraid it cannot be supported in short time.
