Custom Xml Tags Removed by Aspose?

We keep custom Xml tags in our Word Documents. It appears that Aspose is stripping those out when we save to file.

I found a post from 2003 that said Aspose ignores custom Xml tags…

Question: are custom tags supported in the latest version? Or do they get stripped out when saved?

Thanks for your request. Unfortunately at the moment Aspose.Words does not support custom XML in documents. Custom XML tags are ignored.
This feature request is logged in our defect database as issue #3046. We plan to support this in the future, possibly some time in 2008, but I cannot promise a definite deadline.

The issues you have found earlier (filed as 3046) have been fixed in this update.
