Dashed polylines don't retain style or radius

I am working on a project where we need to export CAD wiring diagrams to PDF. Different line styles are applied to the lines depending on their purpose. What I am noticing is that polylines with a style applied to them have two problems:

  1. All 90 degree corners with a smooth radius are reduced to two 45 degree angles
  2. Line styles are only maintained for some of the polyline, the remainder is drawn as a solid line

The polylines appear correctly in Microsoft Visio, where the drawings were originally created, and in Autodesk DWG TrueView. When exported with Aspose.CAD 25.3.0 the lines are not rendered correctly.

I have attached a zip with the original Visio file, the exported DWG, and an example of a PDF exported by Aspose.CAD.

Please let me know if there is a way to fix this problem as it is important that the line styles are maintained when the drawings are exported.

we can confirm the issue unfortunately, and we have created CADNET-10096 to resolve it.

Thank you for confirming that this is a legitimate issue. Do you have any ETA on when a fix can be released? I’m trying to launch a new feature for a product that I am working on and this is critical to ensuring that the release can go ahead as planned.

We hope to deliver the fix in the next 25.5 release in May.
But we can not guarantee this time unfortunately according to Free Support Policies, so you should not rely on this.

Thank you for providing that information. The company I work for has a paid license for Aspose.CAD with free support, do you know if the timeline for implementing fixes is any different if we pay for developer support?

you could think about Paid Support or Hotfix for urgent fixes, but in this case 25.5 release is already the closest one we can deliver the fix for. Let me track the progress and update you with this issue or you can text me directly in this thread in about a week. I will have more details and better understanding about its delivery in 25.5.
