Design environment and support for nested tables

Does aspose.cells overcome the SSRS 2005 limitation of not allowing nested tables to be exported to excel?

Is the design environment for aspose.cells still visual studio?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for considering Aspose.

Is the design environment for aspose.cells still visual studio?

The newer Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services enables users to design and deliver their reports directly from MS Excel and meanwhile the solution also takes full advantage of the power of Reporting Services’ report management, security and delivery options by the reason of its seamless integration with Reporting Services.

Now Aspose.Cells for Reporting Services is comprised of two components as following:

· Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer

Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer is a report designer tool that is integrated with MS Excel in Add-Ins… form. With Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer users can design a report template in MS Excel instead of Visual Studio. The report template is then embedded into Reporting Services RDL file and can be published to Report Server. Users can also preview and export the report in Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer.

· Aspose.Cells.Renderer for Reporting Services

Aspose.Cells.Renderer for Reporting Services is actually an implementation of Microsoft Reporting Services Rendering Extension. The renderer can render the RDL report designed by both Visual Studio and Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer. To render an RDL report designed by Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer the renderer first extracts the report template from RDL file that is added by Aspose.Cells.Report.Designer at design time, interprets the template information and populates the template with data supplied by Reporting Services.
