Detector error

Hello
If you use the below file with Aspose.Email DetectFileFormat you’ll get Ics, while this is a Zip archive with an Ics file inside it:
2030 Task.zip (5.4 KB)

Trying to load it into the calendar reader event: The data appears to be corrupted.

AFAIK, zip has these 3 initial bytes (magic numbers):

50 4B 03 04
50 4B 05 06 (empty archive)
50 4B 07 08 (spanned archive)

In my sample, the 1st and 2nd bytes are printable, but 3rd and 4th bytes are control characters, are control characters used in the Ics or Vcs?! Additionally see the 2nd line, last line… :slight_smile:

@australian.dev.nerds,

Thanks, I’ll check it later.

Hello, any news? :slight_smile:
