DGN: The image file format may be not supported at the moment

I’m loading a .dgn file and getting this error. I didn’t see anything in the docs about limitations for this file format, but maybe I missed it?

Are there specific ‘flavors’ of DGN that are only supported?

Image loading failed: Cannot open an image. The image file format may be not supported at the moment.

@kirkmarple,
we do not have support for DGN V8. If this file is DGN V7 and we don’t load it - please attach it, we will investigate.

Ah good to know, thanks. That’s likely what’s happening. It’s a customer document, so I can’t provide, but I’ll check if it’s DGN v7 or v8. Is v8 support on the roadmap?

there are no plans at the moment to support DGN V8, because the documentation or description for it is not available.

Hi, we also use DGN that are V8.
Is it possible for the Aspose Team to reach out to Bentley and inquire if there is a SDK for V8 DGNs? Or perhaps license the library so Aspose.CAD can be updated? Just an idea.
