Dithering and Binarization Defaults

For Aspose.PDF, or for that matter Aspose.Words, if no specific dithering or binarize/binarization settings are specified in the API, what are the defaults if I am outputing to a BW image, such as a tiff? Will dithering be used or a simple threshold conversion? If dithering is automatically used when the developer hasn’t specified binarization parameters, what are the defaults used?

We do not use dithering for BW images only threshold with default values 0.33.
