Do you have pdf editing API/SDK

  1. As it’s said that Aspose.PDF can convert PDF files to multiple formats, I’ wondering if Aspose.PDF can converts files like excel/word/ppt/text to PDF.
    If not, does it mean that we have to choose Aspose.total product?
  2. As it doesn’t mention PDF editing function at your website, I’m wondering if you can provide PDF editing API or SDK.

Yes, you need to choose Aspose.Total in order to deal with other file formats as source files to the API for conversion. The Aspose.PDF is specialized to deal with PDF documents and it converts PDF into Word/Excel/PPT and text formats. You can however convert .txt file into PDF by simply reading it and adding text line by line to the PDF.

Can you please be clear a little bit more? Are you talking about Aspose Apps? They are simply demonstration of how Aspose on premise APIs can be used in the code behind to achieve different type of functionalities in your application.

Hi, I mean does aspose.total has the function of editing PFD files, like adding text, images, and shapes to PDFs, or changing sizes, colors and font styles of the text and link?

There is no such limitation in the API and you can use all of its functionality in your software or API. All functionalities, features and respective code examples are documented in the documentation.

Aspose APIs offer massive features for their respective file formats. Not all functionalities and requirements can be met directly. A lot of custom scenarios can be achieved using different functions and methods of the APIs. We have multiple platforms showcasing all the features and code samples in order to demonstrate what these APIs can do and how you can use them in your application.

Being a marketing or a non-technical person, you can go through the landing pages of every product showing feature and functionalities in an abstract manner. Furthermore, you can go through Aspose Blog where you will find most of the examples and user stories about the API features.
