I’m having an issue when using the Aspose.Words.Document.Compare method with a .docx file.
The document has a numbered list. When a new item is added the compare method is detecting that the numbering has reset for that item and showing a change that doesn’t really exist.
It’s easier to understand if you see it, I’ve attached an image which illustrates the issue clearly and a zip with the file versions being compared and the output.
The issue doesn’t happen if you set “IgnoreFormatting = true” in the CompareOptions, unfortunately that’s not an option for our use case as formatting is significant to our customers.
