Hey,

The documentation for the Saaspose API is very hard to navigate - I’m looking for the documentation that explains what format an XML body should be for the “complex type” mail-merge but I can’t find it anywhere. When I click on the Feedback link on the left I get a YSoD error page.

I’ve also encountered numerous errors with the .NET SDK which is why I chose to write my own - the code is sloppily written and disregards many best-practices. Because I’m writing my own I need accurate and concise RESTful API documentation, which is very hard to find.

Heck, I’m more than willing to volunteer my time, effort, and the code I’ve already written to Saaspose if it makes things easier for everyone else.

Thanks for the information. I have gone through the Saaspose API pages and observed that we need to update them according the latest changes. I have logged this task under ticket id SUPPORT-9 in our issue tracking system. We will keep you updated about the issue in this thread. Second, it would be great, if you can share the exact location where you clicked the feedback link.

It’s good that you are willing to become a volunteer. You can share the written source code here in this thread. We will take a closer look and update you accordingly.

I need to do a brief audit of my code before I submit it, but I have implemented a client for Storage, Documents, and MailMerge – the other areas of Saaspose, such as Excel, do not interest me so I haven’t developed my client in that area.

I note that the ZenDesk website does not work – I cannot view any of the tickets I’ve created: “You do not have access to request #242(https://forum.aspose.com/tickets/242). It may have been solved or deleted.” and when I go onto the “Check your existing tickets” page I get this message: “You have no open requests”.

The Feedback link is visible on every page in the Saaspose documentation. Clicking on it from any page gives me the Yellow Screen of Death: https://apps.saaspose.com/feedback

I hope it will help you to build complex templates and XML. If you still find any difficulty, please share your sample and XML to let us have a look, or share more details about your scenario and we will help you building complex template and XML.

Regarding Zendesk issues, I would like to share that we are renaming our service to Aspose for Cloud because Aspose is our parent company and we want to build a healthy community by using Aspose forums. Our current support system (Zendesk) will be replaced by Aspose forums very soon. Even now you can post Saaspose.Words related queries in Aspose.Words forum https://forum.aspose.cloud

  2. Regarding you existing tickets, we close the tickets if a customer shares his issue is resolved or a customer does not follow his ticket for more than 1 week after the notification sent by our management to follow his ticket if his issue is not resolved. Also, existing tickets will be moved to Aspose forums as private threads very soon.
