Docx to HTML lists as tags issue

Hi,
could you tell us why the attached docx file when converted to HTML with lists as Auto or as HTML tags does not generate any UL/LI tags?
Lists.docx (14.4 KB)

Thanks,
Brian

You can obtain Paid Support Services if you need support on a priority basis, along with the direct access to our Paid Support management team.

Hi there,
any update on that issue? We know you can use list-style-type: ‘●’ CSS to simulate custom unordered list types in HTML. It would be great if Aspose Words would do the same.

Thank you,
Brian

@leftofcentre The issue is related to another root issue WORDSNET-25650 which is current in development and is scheduled to be fixed in the next 23.11 version of Aspose.Words. We will be sure to let you know once the issue is resolved.

Hi there,
it seems this issue was not resolved in Aspose 23.11, I just wanted to double check.

Thanks,
Brian

@leftofcentre Yes, you are right, unfortunately, the issue is not resolved yet. Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience.

Is it going to be resolved in 23.12?

@leftofcentre Yes, currently the estimate has been shifted to 23.12 version of Aspose.Words.

Hi,
so once again this was not fixed? At least I see nothing about this in the 23.12 release notes and the conversion did not change.

@leftofcentre We have closed the main blocker issue for WORDSNET-25977, but the WORDSNET-25977 should be still rechecked by our developers. Once done the issue will be also closed. Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience.

What’s that blocker issue? I don’t see anything about 25977 in 23.12 release notes.

Should we be able to see any HTML output changes in 23.12? Or do we have to still wait for this?

@leftofcentre The issue WORDSNET-25650 was a blocker. It’s fix will be included into the next 24.1 version.

@leftofcentre We have rechecked WORDSNET-25977 and can confirm it has been fixed with WORDSNET-25650. The fix will be included into the next 24.1 version of Aspose.Words.

OK, thanks for informing us. We’ll check it once 24.1 is released.
