We are evaluating Aspose.Word. We are considering bringing word and excel document generation to our existing solution, which makes open document text (odt) and open document spreadsheet (ods) documents (via AODL open source library)
Does Aspose.Word have ability to generate spreadsheet documents?

Thanks for your interest in Aspose.Words. The latest version of Aspose.Words has a beta version of saving to Open Document (ODT) format. You are welcome to try it out, but beware not all document features are yet exported.
The new version of Aspose.Words is available for download from here.

You can use Aspose.Cells to create spreadsheets. However, ODS format is not supported now. We will make it in the future release.
