I am looking at using Aspose.Slides for a client but need to know if the API supports objects and controls such as shockwave flash, windows medial player and custom activex controls etc?

Well, Aspose.Slides for .NET supports embedding of OLE Objects through OleObjectFrame class with supported OleObjectType. However, some issues have been reported by the customers regarding controls like Shockwave Flash / ActiveX controls and it may take some time to resolve such issues. The trial version of the latest release of Aspose.Slides for .NET can be downloaded here.
