Encryption of PDF leads to loss of PDF/A and PDF Header Information

Hello,

we want to encrypt a PDF and previously we convert to PDF/A and set custom header information, e.g. Creator and other things.

After encryption, all these information are gone.
If we try to set PDF/A again, the encryption is gone :slight_smile:

Is there a way to encrypt a PDF/A file with custom Headers without lose PDF/A and the headers?

Can you please share some sample PDF document and sample code snippet for our reference so that we can test the scenario in our environment to replicate the same issue and address it accordingly.

Here is a small sample project.
Inpout Document is PDF/A and has a custom header (see Screenshot in PDF).
After encryption PDF/A and custom headers are gone (see OutputDocument.pdf).

We were able to notice the same behavior of the API in our environment as you mentioned. Therefore, have logged an issue as PDFNET-49828 in our issue tracking system to further investigate this behavior and resolve it. We will further look into its details and keep you posted with the status of its rectification. Please be patient and spare us some time.
