Receive error on ‘Language is not a member of Aspose.OCR.OcrEngine’.
Hi Marcus,
Thank you for contacting Aspose support.
We believe you have recently upgraded the Aspose.OCR for .NET API to the latest revision v2.2.0 because with this release the Language property has been moved to the Aspose.OCR.LanguageContainer class. Please review the Public API Changes in prespective of v2.2.0 for more details in this regard whereas the latest code snippet to perform OCR operation can be found here.
Regarding the other part of your inquiry, unfortunately, the Aspose.OCR for .NET API does not support MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) at the moment. We have logged a formal request in our database under the ticket OCR-33913 to analyze the feasibility of this feature, and if possible, provide the implementation with future releases of Aspose.OCR APIs. In the meanwhile, we will keep you posted with updates in this regard.
Please feel free to write back in case you have any concerns or questions for us.
The issues you have found earlier (filed as ) have been fixed in this Aspose.Words for JasperReports 18.3 update.
