Error Cannot extract the embedded font after saving Word as PDF with latest version of Aspose.Words .NET (16.3.0.0)

Hello,

This problem start happening after I upgrade to Aspose.PDF (11.5.0.0) and Aspose.Words (16.3.0.0).

Here is what I’m doing:

1- Saving Word documents as PDF

2- Then add a footer to each PDF

3- And finally concatenate the converted PDF files in a single PDF

It all seem to be good but after I open the converted documents (from the step 2) with adobe latest version many of the files got this popup error:

“Cannot extract the embedded font ‘FAAAAH+Calibri’. Some characters may not display

or print correctly.“

And the concatenated file (from step 3) has this error:

“‘MergedFiles016bef36-fd5d 4271-9520-3f0cbc9ea92b.pdf’ because it is either not a

supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an

email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded). “

I found that if I use this FontEmbeddingMode = PdfFontEmbeddingMode.EmbedNone, the errors go away, but that’s not good, because the files loss their original fonts.

This problem didn’t occur with the previous version of Aspose with the exact same files, so I believe it’s a bug in this latest version.

I have attached a sample Wondows Form Application where you can see the error I described above.

This bug is causing serious problems in my company can you please provide a solution for this?

Thanks in advance
