Trying to concatenate pdf files with invalid signature throws error. If I try to remove the invalid signatures Aspose.Pdf won’t discover them. This is becoming a serious problem since more and more customers receives this types of document. As a workaround we can merge the files in Acrobat Pro and Acrobat warns about signatures that will be removed. That is not sustainable.ConcatenateTest.zip (3.9 MB)

Thank you for investigating the issue. We are getting new support cases from our customers concerning pdf concatenation. I’ve been testing some more and I’m not sure it’s about the signings any more. We are getting the same error even without these files. In production we are using Aspose.PDF 22.4.0 and get Aspose.Pdf.InvalidPdfFileFormatException : “Incorrect file header” after concatenation when creating a new Aspose.Pdf.Document. In the test setup I’m using Aspose.PDF 22.11.0 and the error for the same files are System.NullReferenceException during concatenation. I have included som more tests.
