Error converting doc with tables across pages to TIF or PDF

I have a problem converting a Word Doc (attached) to TIF or PDF that has a table that stretches on more than one page (two or more).

I receive an error of “Object
reference not set to an instance of an object.”

Good day,

Are there any news about the tables issue I have posted two weeks ago. It’s urgent cause it stops us from deploying a solution into production.

Please do advise in regards to a time table for a solution.

Kind regards,

Mike

Good day,

I have seen that you have added to the downloads the a new version (DLL only) you have discussed in your last post. Does it include the correction to the tables bug specified before?

Kind regards,

Mike

The issue of the tables was resolved in the 11.8.0.0 version but there is another problem with the page numbering.

In the DOC attached it’s in the middle of the page, in the converted PDF and TIF, on the first page it’s in the middle but not in the same format, comes 1 and not -1- and on the second page it comes on the right side not the middle like in the first page and the original DOC.

Attached are the original DOC that was converted to PDF and TIF.

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your inquiry. While using the latest version of Aspose.Words i.e. 11.8.0, I managed to reproduce both of these issues on my side. I have logged these issues in our bug tracking system as WORDSNET-7057 and WORDSNET-7058. Your request has also been linked to these issues and you will be notified as soon as these are resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good day,

Please add this problem as well.

The document attached has a problem. I’m trying to convert it to a PDF or TIF file and the process gets stuck and hangs forever on the convert line. I can see the PDF or TIF file being created, but it 0 bytes forever.

I tried to look inside the document and find something unusual, but I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.

Kind regards,

Mike

Good day,

I’m adding another problem.
The documents supplied are in Hebrew and the problem is with a choice field in the table (second column from the right), you will see marked in grey in both tables in the DOC.
The titles in the second column from the right while converting to PDF comes correct (Hebrew is right to left). In the TIF conversion, they are reversed (last letter is the first and so on).
For checking it even though in Hebrew, compare the ASCII or bytes between the original DOC and the PDF converted to the TIF that has the problem, top second column from the right.
All three documents are attached.

Kind regards,
Mike
