Excel Add-In (JavaScript)

Good morning,
reading your wiki, I see that it is possible to set the value of a cell with a custom formula of an Add-In.

In the example, however, I read that the path of the .xlam file is needed, as this file does not exist in a javascript Add-In.

Is Aspose also compatible with javascript Add-In?

Thanks in advance

@nick89,

Please note, XLA and XLAM files are used when adding MS Excel Add-Ins. Aspose.Cells does support to set add-ins functions using the XLA/XLAM files via its APIs.

Could you please share more details on JavaScript Add-in? How could we add such an add-in to MS Excel? Moreover, please provide a sample Excel file having such add-in. We will check it soon.

Hi @amjad.sahi,
thanks for the reply, here you will find the documentation of the excel add-ins written in javascript.

As an example, you can download the ESGeo add-in, directly from the Microsoft store. This add-in was written in javascript.
