After reading several other post about the content type being invalid when loading an email message (eml), we made sure we used the latest update for Aspose.Email (3.4.0) (.NET 4.0) and still found that the exception was thrown.
The exception simply states that the content type is invalid. Our client claims it only happens when a docx is attached, though that content type seems perfectly fine. Could it be that the content types used by GroupWise 2012 - “multipart/mixed” and/or “multipart/alternative” - are causing the MailMessage.Load method to throw the exception?
The email file going haywire has been attached to the post.
I was able to reproduce this issue at my end using Aspose.Email for .NET 3.4.0 and have logged it in our bug tracking system under issue id: NETWORKNET-34116. Development team will look into it and once we have any information regarding the resolution of this issue, we'll update you here via this thread.
If you have any other query/inquiry regarding Aspose.Email, please feel free to post to us. We'll try to assist you further as soon as possible.
