Exceptions when trying to open mail merge document

Hi,

I'm in the process of getting the aproval to purchuse Asopse.Words. While testing I run into the following problems. Both problems are happening when I tried to open the mail merge doc.

Dim wrdDoc As Aspose.Words.Document = New Aspose.Words.Document(docFile, Aspose.Words.LoadFormat.FormatDocument, Nothing)

Problem 1:

Exception: "Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."

Document used: Problem1.doc

Problem 2:

Exception: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Document used: Problem2.doc

Thanks for reporting these issues to us.

I have reproduced the errors and logged them to our defect base as issue #1048 and issue #1049.

We will probably fix them in the next hotfix which will be published in about two weeks from now.

These problems are fixed in Aspose.Words 3.7 which is now available for download.
