We are seeing extra characters in some documents when we extract the text. In the attached document, a " d" is appended after the headers.

I have tested the document that you sent and the reason of the letter “d” being appended to the end of line is because it is also present in the orignal PDF document (however it isn’t visible in the pdf). You can check this by opening the pdf file in acrobat reader and selecting the text and copying it and then paste it into notepad.
